Discounts

Discounted fees apply to the following:

• Research Officers/ Assistants: 50% to 90% (depending on teaching load for Structure A only)
• UNITEN staff (self-sponsored): 50%
• Returning Students: 25% (Structure A, B, C)
• Self-sponsored students: Up to 20% (Structure A, B, C with Dean’s approval)

Notes:
• Fees are to be collected per semester and penalty will be imposed for late or non-payment:
• Fees are to be paid within a fixed period:
  Structure A: by end of week 2
  Structures B & C: by end of week 6 (2 weeks after due for drop courses)

• A commitment fee of RM500.00 must be paid upon acceptance of offer. This fee is part payment of the tuition fee if the applicant registers and proceeds with the programme. The fee will be forfeited if the applicant fails to register on registration day or withdraw from the programme after registration.
• The English Placement exam is for those with degrees from non-English speaking countries and those without acceptable TOEFL or IELTS score. The test will determine the level of Intensive English Programme you are required to attend and pass before you will be allowed to register for the academic degree programmes.
• The fee for the Intensive English Programme (IEP) will depend on its duration and its level.
• A re-registration fee of RM140.00 applies to all local students for each semester.
• A re-registration fee of RM235.00 applies to all international students for each semester.
