Dr Bob Bishop’s lecture drew overwhelming response

Putrajaya, 23 May: The third UNITEN Tun Mahathir Lecture Series which staged Dr Bob Bishop as its speaker received overwhelming response with more than 400 participants packed in two lecture halls at UNITEN.

Dr. Bob Bishop the Founder and Chairman of BBWORLD Consulting Services Sarl, a Geneva based hi-tech strategic advisory organization delivered his speech on a topic titled ‘THE GLOBAL BRAIN AT WORK: PARALLEL PATH TO INNOVATION’

Backed by a 40-year professional career in the field of technical and scientific computing, Dr Bob Bishop provided a productive experience and valuable insights to those attended.

Y.Bhg Tan Sri Leo Moggie, Chairman for Tenaga Nasional Berhad and UNITEN was given the honour to present Dr Bishop in his welcoming speech.

This lecture series is held every year at UNITEN and is open to public on complimentary basis. It is seen as one of the university’s efforts to share the knowledge of the world to the masses. Its main objective is to create a sharing platform for distinguished people who have made their mark in the world and to share their achievements that will inspire people especially the younger generation to be high achievers.

The next lecture series in scheduled in early December 2008.
