INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PROFESSIONAL HUFFAZ (InFAZ2023)

“SUSTAINABILITY OF PROFESSIONAL HUFFAZ TOWARDS IR 5.0”

In 2019, Darul Quran JAKIM in collaboration with UNITEN organized the 2019 National Level Huffaz Convention. The objective of the convention is to bring together experts and interested parties in the field of al-Quran memorization education to discuss current issues related to tahfiz education and memorization methods which is practiced in Malaysia.

The convention was attended by more than 1000 participants representing agencies that formulate and implement policies related to tahfiz, higher education institutions that offer tahfiz diplomas and certificates, tahfiz associations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) related to tahfiz and primary and secondary tahfiz schools from states throughout Malaysia.

Accordingly, the proposal to organize the International Conference on Professional Huffaz (InFaz 2023) is a continuation of the previous Huffaz Convention 2019 with the theme "Sustainability of Professional Towards IR 5.0". This convention is jointly organized by 3 agencies namely UNITEN, JAKIM and MAIWP.

This convention involves the participation of professional panelists and technocrats who have a tahfiz education background. The discussion focused on the importance of tahfiz education towards producing professionals and technocrats in various fields in parallel with the Fifth Industrial Revolution or IR 5.0.

This convention is also part of the programs planned in conjunction with the celebration of 10 years of the establishment of UNITEN. In addition to increasing the public's understanding of wider opportunities for tahfiz graduates, this convention also aims to produce more professional huffaz through the paper presentation session and the sharing of experiences by academics from home and abroad.
