Welcome to the College of Business Management and Accounting (COBA) of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). The College of Business Management & Accounting is established in Muadzam Shah, Pahang, a small yet vibrant town located in the east coast of Malaysia. With more than 20 years of experience in education, COBA offers a wide range of academic programmes in accounting, finance and business management at all levels – foundation, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate.

Quality of education has always been at the top of our priority. Accreditation by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the recognition by professional bodies such as ACCA, MICPA, ICAEW, CPA Australia, CIMA, Malaysian Financial Planning Council, Malaysian Insurance Institute and the likes attest to our commitment. We forge close relationship with the industry through the appointment of adjunct professors and industry advisory panels as well as providing avenues for industry leaders to share their experience and insights so as to nurture industry-ready graduates.

At COBA, we continuously add values to our graduates through various collaborations - either currently being implemented or in the pipeline, which include JAKIM’s tahfiz certification, ICDL digital skills certification, one-year work-based learning (WBL) at selected companies and ACCA INternary. In the most recent year, we have achieved more than 90% of graduate-on-time (GOT) and recorded more than 90% of employability rate which helps steer UNITEN in becoming one of the world’s top universities in Graduate Employability Rankings 2022.

Excellence might best describe our academics and students. Over the years, our academics have amassed various achievements including in securing external grants and winning medals for their research and inventions. We recognise our students not only for their academic achievements, but also for other attributes including their involvement and accomplishments in many imperative aspects of life, namely leadership, spiritual, communication, entrepreneurship, cultural and recreational. It is proud to say that COBA graduates were the winners of Anugerah Canselor Universiti (University Chancellor Award) – the top in its class - for many years in a row.

The College of Business Management and Accounting (COBA) strives to provide first class education to prepare students for positions in the industry. We are proud to say that the College of Business Management and Accounting is currently at the forefront as far as the world of business education is concerned. The high opinions of our peers confirm our conviction that the College of Business Management and Accounting undergraduates stand among the best in the nation. The present intake of students will enrol themselves at Kampus Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Bandar Muadzam Shah, Pahang. All programmes offered by the College of Business Management and Accounting are designed to satisfy the academic requirements of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). In addition, the Accounting degree programme is designed to satisfy the requirements for membership to the relevant professional body.
