20 June 2023 - The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), in collaboration with the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia (UTeM), Melaka, and the National Cycling Association of Malaysia (PKBM), successfully organised the Le Tour de IPT 2023 (LTdIPT). The 2023 LTdIPT is the inaugural edition of a cycling tour featuring 16 teams from public (IPT) and private higher education institutions (IPTS) that spans four stages covering a total distance of 332.7 km.

The final leg of the race, which spanned distance of 90.3km, was officiated by the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Professor Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman, commencing from UNITEN, Bangi, and culminating in Putrajaya.
