GLU Friendly Pickleball Tournament 2026 Continues Streghthen Synergy with GLU

The strategic relationship between members of the Alliance of Government-Linked Universities (GLU) continues to be strengthened through the organization of the GLU Friendly Pickleball Tournament 2026 which was successfully held at Pickledoh @ UNITEN on 4 July 2026.
This friendly sports tournament aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among GLU employees and top management, in addition to being a dynamic platform to expand cooperation networks and foster a spirit of friendship between the institutions involved.
The event, which started as early as 9:00 am, saw great participation from four leading GLU universities in Malaysia, namely Multimedia University (MMU), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).
This event saw strong teamwork and competitive action displayed by the top management and players, thus reflecting the high commitment of the GLU institution in supporting the sports development agenda and the well-being of campus residents.
The fierce competition on the court finally saw the host, UNITEN emerge as the overall champion of the tournament with 16 points. Closely followed by MMU who came in second place with 12 points. Meanwhile, UniKL and UTP each shared the next position with 4 points overall.
The organizing committee would like to express its highest appreciation to all contingents, secretariats, and sponsor partners who have given their unwavering commitment in making this program a success. Well done to all the winners, and it is hoped that this positive momentum can continue in the upcoming GLU tournament series.
