This programme integrates engineering knowledge with management principles to develop effective leaders for technical and engineering-based organisations. It combines structured coursework with applied project work to build competencies in project management, operations, strategic decision-making, and leadership, preparing graduates to manage engineering projects, teams, and organisations in a dynamic industrial environment.

About Programme

Master of Engineering Management (By Coursework & Project) program is introduced in line with the need to further expose the working engineers and other professionals with related management tools.

Professionals are sometimes in predicament when they are given responsibility to lead organization or departments due to their lack of managerial skills which could affect their performance.

A Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by UNITEN Senate; OR
A Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by UNITEN Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by UNITEN Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree recognised by the Malaysian Government.
Relevant APEL-A certification from MQA

For international students: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 550 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or its equivalent.
