Dean, College of Continuing Education (CCEd)

Welcome to CCEd at UNITEN

CCEd is one of the leading colleges in continuing education that emphasizes lifelong learning. We strive to deliver strong fundamental and holistic knowledge in social sciences and encourage lifelong learning through high quality and innovative education for a sustainable future. CCEd offers newly developed fields of study while providing clear direction for continuous improvement, as well as supporting admissions decisions and student services to better serve stakeholders.

The university has been providing excellent and quality tertiary education for more than 25 years.Our focus is on effective teaching, supported by modern classroom, seminar, and office facilities, alongside excellent support services.

The institution began with humble beginnings as ILSAS, later evolving into IKATAN, before adopting its present name — reflecting strong and distinguished educational principles. The university serves as a platform for intellectual development, critical thinking, and the preparation of graduates for the evolving demands of the labour market.

Students undergo rigorous academic and professional training to equip them with the competencies required to remain competitive in today’s workforce. The university also maintains strong collaborations with professional bodies, entrepreneurs, industries, and various organisations, creating valuable employment opportunities for graduating students.

CCEd is located at the UNITEN Putrajaya Campus, Selangor, catering to students pursuing courses in social sciences, languages, communication, and preparatory programmes such as SAT, IELTS, and MUET, including MUET on Demand services. The college also offers short courses, Intensive English Programmes, executive diplomas, edu-tourism initiatives, proofreading services, and serves as a one-stop centre for university admission through APEL.

In addition, CCEd is committed to advancing knowledge and enhancing learning experiences in areas such as leadership, communication, interpersonal development, and language proficiency, contributing to the university’s sustainability goals. These initiatives also promote strong values and meaningful social interaction among students.


CCEd also supports the Affective Domain of Malaysian Qualifications Framework 2.0 in order to produce well-balanced and holistic graduates in terms of intellectual, physical, spiritual and emotion. To be a prestigious graduate, one must balance between intellectual excellence and moral integrity,
responsibility, and contribution to society.
