GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION

🔹 Due date: Applications must be submitted no later than the fourth week of each semester.

🔹 Eligibility: Applications are subject to the general eligibility criteria outlined in the discount policy.

UNITEN TUITION FEE DISCOUNT INITIATIVE

This tuition fee discount initiative, endorsed by UNITEN Management, aims to promote higher education at UNITEN for UNITEN and TNB employees and their families, encouraging their children to apply and enroll.

ELIGIBILITY FOR TUITION FEE DISCOUNTS

The following groups are eligible for the tuition fee discount:

🔹 Employees of UNITEN

🔹 Employees of TNB serving at UNITEN

🔹 Children of UNITEN employees

🔹 Children of TNB employees serving at UNITEN

🔹 Children of retired UNITEN employees

EMPLOYEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

🔹 Active employment: Open to all employees currently serving in UNITEN.

🔹 Expatriate employees: Employees appointed under the Expatriate Officer (Pegawai Dagang) terms are eligible.

🔹 One discount per couple: If both spouses are UNITEN or TNB employees, only one is eligible.

🔹 Limit per family: Discounts are limited to three (3) children per family during the employee’s service period.

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

🔹 Active enrollment: Students must be actively enrolled in a program of study.

🔹 First-time applications: Applications must be submitted in the first semester to qualify for subsequent discounts.

🔹 Existing students: Only students with previously approved discounts may reapply.

🔹 Progression from foundation/diploma: Students continuing to a Bachelor's Degree are eligible to apply.

🔹 Exclusion from other financial aid: Students receiving scholarships or convertible loans (e.g., YCU, MARA, JPA, Yayasan Tenaga Nasional) are not eligible, except for PTPTN recipients.
