Document Checklist
- Printed copy of e-Visa Approval Letter (eVAL)
- Single Entry Visa (SEV) / eVISA for students and the receipts for any fee paid for this document (only applicable for some nationalities)
- Completion of Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
- Original Passport (valid for 18 months before expiry)
- High School / academic certificates, passport-type photographs, medical information, spare photocopies of passport, etc.
- Printed Copy Offer Letter & Acceptance of Offer Letter
- Receipts/proof of payments
- Sufficient cash (Preferably US Dollar / Malaysian Ringgit - MYR) MYR can be obtained from the airport money changers.
- Important Contact Numbers
- Yellow Fever Certificate if you are coming from a country with a risk of yellow fever transmission or have stayed in transit within these countries for more than 12 hours.
SEV and Visa Requirements
Students from SEV-required countries must obtain a Single Entry Visa (SEV) prior to travelling to Malaysia. The full list is available on the official Education Malaysia website:

Complete the Pre-entry Checklist to notify EMGS on your arrival details. EMGS International Student Arrival Centre (ISAC) will assist you upon your arrival.

Booking Your Accommodation
If you have applied for on-campus residence, please ensure that you contact +603-8921 2020 ext. 7465 or email razif@uniten.edu.my at least seven (7) days prior to your check-in date to confirm your accommodation arrangements.
Booking Your Flight Ticket
Please ensure that your flight ticket is flexible to accommodate any possible delays in the approval process. International students are only permitted to enter Malaysia through Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 (KLIA) or Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA 2). Kindly note that the earliest allowed travel date for new students is two (2) weeks prior to the orientation date.
Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
The requirements to complete the MDAC apply to the following international students
Students who have obtained a Visa Approval Letter (VAL) and are travelling to Malaysia to commence their course for the first time
Mobility students with a course duration of less than three months who will enter Malaysia on a social visit pass.
The MDAC can be completed as early as 3 days before arrival here
