Sudanese Ambassador Enrolls in UNITEN Phd Programme, Strengthening International Academic Ties

During an official diplomatic visit to the Embassy on 20 February 2026, UNITEN Vice-Chancellor Professor Ir. Dr. Khairul Salleh Mohamed Sahari formalised the registration, marking a significant milestone in international academic diplomacy. His Excellency will specialise in Business Management, a move that further reinforces UNITEN’s reputation as a preferred institution for global leaders and academic excellence.
The visit also facilitated a strategic dialogue between UNITEN and His Excellency, focusing on several key areas of cooperation. This included expanding academic collaboration through student mobility and exchange programmes between both nations, as well as exploring research innovation in sustainable business practices and emerging technologies. Furthermore, both parties discussed strengthening alumni engagement by deepening ties with UNITEN's substantial Sudanese alumni network, who remain a vital part of the university’s global community.
To mark his official onboarding into the doctoral programme, the Vice-Chancellor presented the UNITEN Varsity Jacket to His Excellency. The presentation served as more than a formal welcome; it was a profound testament to the deepening partnership and mutual respect between UNITEN and the Republic of Sudan.
