UNITEN Strengthens Commitment to Tahfiz-Technocrat Development at Gen Huffaz MARA 2026

1 March 2026 - Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ir. Dr. Khairul Salleh Mohamed Sahari, recently attended the Gen Huffaz MARA 2026 Technocrat Assembly and Majlis Santunan Kasih Ramadan held at the Federal Territory Mosque, Kuala Lumpur.
The prestigious event was officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development, YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Accompanying the Vice-Chancellor was Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Mat Isa, the UNITEN Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience and Alumni.
Demonstrating the university’s active role in the integration of spiritual and technical education, a delegation of 90 UNITEN Huffaz students participated in the assembly under the guidance of their Tahfiz lecturers.
The assembly brought together nearly 6,000 TVET and Professional Huffaz from across the nation. This significant gathering underscores a continuous commitment to nurturing a generation of "Huffaz Technocrats," who are professionals capable of balancing religious excellence with modern technical expertise.
