Overview

The Foundation in Engineering programme equips students with strong fundamentals in mathematics, science, and engineering principles, preparing them for undergraduate engineering studies.

About Programme

The Foundation in Engineering programme is designed to prepare students for professional careers and further studies toward a Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field. We adopt comprehensive and innovative content and teaching techniques aimed at expanding the frontiers of learning and fostering a probing mind.

The curriculum, further enhanced with project work, laboratory experiments, and practical training, are designed with input from several reputable sources. A strong Foundation in Engineering provides a well-established balance between theory and practical experimentation throughout the one-year programme. The curriculum consists of a balanced mix of general subjects and core engineering subjects.

50 credit hours of subjects are being taught in three semesters. This Foundation in Engineering programme can be completed in 1 year.
