UNITEN PRESS
Overview
UNITEN Press (UP), operating under Information Resource Centre (IRC) Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), plays a key role in strengthening the university’s publication ecosystem by establishing a more systematic and focused process for producing research books, particularly those derived from doctoral and master’s theses by UNITEN academic staff.
Adopting a hybrid publishing model, UNITEN Press integrates both conventional print and digital dissemination while maintaining consistent editorial and peer‑review standards across all formats.
To ensure sustainable operations, the press also practices a fee‑based publishing approach, where authors or their institutions contribute to the production and distribution costs—supporting long‑term efficiency and enabling UNITEN Press to continue delivering high‑quality academic publications.
