Diploma in Accounting

The Diploma in Accounting programme, offered by the Department of Accounting under UNITEN Business School, is designed to equip students with strong foundational knowledge in accounting, finance, and business. This programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), ensuring high standards of academic quality and industry relevance. 

Students will develop essential analytical, numerical, and communication skills through a balanced blend of theory and practical learning. The curriculum emphasises real-world applications, including hands-on projects, case studies, and accounting software exposure, preparing students for both employment and further study. 

Graduates of this programme are well-positioned to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields, either at UNITEN or other recognised institutions. The programme also provides a solid pathway towards professional accounting certifications and careers in auditing, taxation, and financial reporting.   

Diploma in Accounting delivers about 7 semesters and can be completed within two years.
