The Diploma in Accounting programme is offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance under UNITEN Business School @Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Campus, Muadzam Shah, Pahang.
The programme is designed to equip students with strong foundational knowledge in accounting, finance, and business. This programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), ensuring high standards of academic quality and industry relevance.
Students will develop essential analytical, numerical, and communication skills through a balanced blend of theory and practical learning. The curriculum emphasises real-world applications, including hands-on projects, case studies, and accounting software exposure, preparing students for both employment and further study.
Graduates of this programme are well-positioned to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields, either at UNITEN or other recognised institutions. The programme also provides a solid pathway towards professional accounting certifications and careers in auditing, taxation, and financial reporting.
The Diploma in Accounting programme spans 6 semesters and can be completed within 2 years.

The Diploma in Accounting programme at UNITEN Business School offers pathways to Bachelor (Honours) programmes in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, and International Business.
Our diploma graduates may be eligible for credit transfers, subject to approval, potentially shortening the duration of their bachelor’s degree and accelerating their journey to graduation.
Pass SPM with minimum 5 credits Grade C any subjects
Pass with minimum 3 subjects Grade B6
Pass STPM with a minimum Grade C (GPA 2.00) in Any subjects
Pass SVM/ SKM Level 3 (MQF)
