The Wilayah Persekutuan netball team proved their absolute dominance by capturing the Gold medal at the Selangor 2026 SUKMA Games (SUKMA XXII).

The UNITEN Thunder contingent is geared up and ready to make waves at the prestigious 7th Malaysian Higher Education Institutions Sports (SUKIPT) 2026. Comprising a formidable team of 179 elite athletes and officials, the delegation will carry the pride and aspirations of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) throughout the 10-day tournament running from 28 August 2026 to 6 September 2026.

UNITEN recently welcomed Malaysia’s brightest young tech minds to its campus as the official host for the grand finals of the RERO Annual Championship (RAC) 2026. Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) hosted the Tan Sri Leo Moggie 7th Lecture Series 2026 on 6 August 2026 at the National Energy Centre (NEC), UNITEN. Held under the Tan Sri Leo Moggie Distinguished Chair in Energy Informatics, in collaboration with the Institute of Informatics and Computing in Energy (IICE), the lecture series provides a platform for distinguished leaders, industry representatives and the academic community to exchange perspectives on the evolving energy landscape.

A Successful Wrap-Up to Karnival Jom Masuk UNITEN 2026. On 18 and 19 July 2026, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) successfully hosted another Open Day, this time with a special twist through Karnival Jom Masuk UNITEN.

A UNITEN delegation successfully completed the first Factory Acceptance Test (FAT 1) for the Feasibility and Adaptation of Wave Energy Technology for Malaysia (FARM) project in Qingdao, China, from 11 to 15 June 2026.
