UNITEN Receives The BrandLaureate BestBrands Awards

Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) was honoured at the The BrandLaureate Awards BestBrands Awards 2026, further affirming its standing as one of Malaysia’s leading higher education institutions.
The award was received by UNITEN Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ir. Dr. Khairul Salleh Mohamed Sahari, at a ceremony held yesterday, 22 October 2026, at The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
UNITEN was conferred the Nation’s Pride Excellence in Sustainable Energy Education, Research & Innovation award, recognising its leadership in advancing sustainable energy through education, research and innovation.
“This is a big step forward for UNITEN as we move towards aspirations to be a globally well-recognised university in the area of energy," said Prof. Khairul.
