Collaboration with REC
A meeting was held between the Information Resource Centre (IRC), the Research Excellence Centre (REC), and representatives from the colleges to discuss key matters related to the publication of the university’s academic journal. This productive session provided an important platform for all three parties to align strategies, streamline processes, and ensure that upcoming publications meet established scholarly standards.
Among the major issues discussed were the establishment of an e‑ISSN, procedures for journal name and format changes, printing and production costs, as well as matters related to MyCite and SCOPUS indexing, among others
