About Programme

Master in Artificial Intelligence (MAI) at UNITEN is a coursework-based programme designed to develop highly skilled AI professionals with strong technical expertise, innovation capability, and industry readiness. The programme combines solid theoretical foundations with practical, industry-aligned learning in key AI areas such as machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and AI ethics, culminating in a final project that addresses real-world problems.

What You Will Learn

Sem I Introduction to AI and AI Ethics Advanced Machine Learning Algorithms and Programming in Python Elective 1 * Research Methodology	Sem II Advanced Computer Vision Advanced Artificial Intelligence Elective 2 * Elective 3 * Project	Sem III Project Note: The project spans Semesters II and III, with submission and evaluation in Semester III.

Entry Requirements

1	A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent as accepted by UNITEN; or
2	A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related field with a CGPA between 2.00 & 2.50, subject to rigorous internal assessment; or
3	A Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, subject to:
a.	Relevant working experience & rigorous internal assessment; or
b.	Passing prerequisite courses as determined by the University; or
4	Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government & accepted by the UNITEN; or
5	Relevant APEL-A certification from MQA.
