This programme emphasizes students to embrace critical thinking, leadership skills and real - world problem solving. UNITEN’s MBA uniquely specializes in energy and sustainability, integrating digitalization trends to equip professionals for the evolving industry 5.0 landscape.

Designed for career acceleration, the program offers a fast track to the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification, requiring students to complete only two case studies. With access to a vast network of industry and academic partners both locally and internationally, students benefit from enhanced career prospects and global connections. Our expert faculty fosters diverse perspectives through international collaborations, exchange programs, and free international training opportunities.

Students can choose between the conventional MBA or the Open Distance Learning (ODL) MBA, offering flexibility for working professionals.

The program requirements are as follows:

Minimum one year to complete
Requires 40 credit hour
Must include 10 core subjects, 1 electives, and 2 business project

Entry Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by UNITEN Senate; OR
A Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the UNITEN senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by UNITEN senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree recognised by the Malaysian Government.
Relevant APEL-A certification from MQA.
For international students: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 550 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or its equivalent.
