Master of Science in Accounting (By Research) is a programme designed for professional and academics seeking career advancement in accounting, finance, and other business-related areas.
The programme compromises taught courses and a thesis. Students are required to produce an accounting related thesis that demonstrates students understanding on the theoretical foundations, ethical judgements, and critical and strategic thinking ability of emerging accounting issues.

Entry Requirements
| 1 | A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, as accepted by the UNITEN; or |
| 2 | A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with a CGPA between 2.50 & 2.75, subject to rigorous internal assessment; or |
| 3 | A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Non-Accounting field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, subject to:A. |
| a. | Five (5) years of relevant working experience & rigorous internal assessment; orB. |
| b. | passing prerequisite courses as determined by the University; or |
| 4 | Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government & accepted by the UNITEN; or |
| 5 | Relevant APEL-A certification from MQA. |
| 6 | For International Students: IELTS 5.5/ TOEFL 3.5/ MUET 4.0/ Linguaskill 160 |
