The Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) programme at UBS provides students with a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications and analytical skills to prepare graduates for professional careers in accounting, finance, and business, while meeting industry and professional standards.
About Programme
We offer a unique and innovative accountancy programme with specific knowledge and competencies in accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, economics, computing, management, business and energy courses; and their application in the accounting field out in the market. Our programme aims to produce competent and dedicated accountants who exhibit traits such as professionalism, discipline, and high moral standards.
Upon completion of the 3-year programme, our graduates will be equipped with the knowledge, technical competencies, and professional skills required to transition seamlessly into the workforce across various industries, or to further their studies by pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting or other business-related postgraduate programmes.
Graduates of UBS' Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) programme are also eligible for extensive exemptions from selected professional examination papers, enabling them to pursue globally recognised professional qualifications such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants × Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (MICPA x CA ANZ), and CPA Australia.
