About Programme

The Bachelor in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) (Honours) programme at UBS spans 9 semesters and can be completed within 3 years. UBS aims to equip business students with sound knowledge in the management of human resources and practice in the real business organisation.

The programme is offered through two learning pathways: the Conventional mode and the Work-Based Learning (WBL) mode, allowing students to choose a learning experience that best suits their career aspirations and career goals.

The Conventional mode provides students with a strong academic foundation through classroom-based learning, industry-relevant coursework, and practical exposure designed to develop competent and future-ready human resource professionals.

Meanwhile, the Work-Based Learning (WBL) mode offers students the opportunity to experience a more industry-oriented learning environment during the third year of the three-year programme. A distinctive advantage of the WBL mode is that students will complete five specialisation modules at selected partner companies during their final year of study. This unique industry collaboration strengthens students’ practical competencies, professional skills, adaptability, and workplace readiness, while also providing valuable industry exposure and networking opportunities prior to graduation.

Upon graduation, our graduates will be well-prepared to pursue careers in human resource management across various industries and organisations. Graduates may also further their studies by pursuing an MBA or other related postgraduate programmes.
