Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Zahari Hj. Dollah
PRINCIPAL FELLOW, UNITEN
Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Zahari Hj. Dollah is one of Malaysia’s most accomplished energy professionals, with over 33 years of distinguished service in the power and utility industry. He holds the credentials of Professional Engineer (Ir.), Competent Engineer, Professional Technologist (Ts.), and a PhD in Engineering specialising in Sustainable Microgrid Systems. He was appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Power Engineering (IPE), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), in 2023 and was subsequently elevated to Principal Fellow in August 2025.
Ir. Dr. Sanjayan Velautham

Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) is proud to recognise Ir. Dr. Sanjayan Velautham, Principal Fellow, whose career spans more than 35 years across academia, government, industry, and international organisations. A recognised leader in the energy sector, he has contributed significantly to Malaysia’s and ASEAN’s energy transition through work in energy policy, regulatory reform, renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and market transformation. His distinguished career includes senior leadership roles with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), A*STAR Singapore, General Electric, the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), SEDA Malaysia, and the Energy Commission.
