The National Energy Centre (NEC) at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) hosted the annual RERO Annual Championship (RAC) 2026 from 11 to 12 August 2026. Organised by Cytron Technologies Malaysia and the Penang State Education Department, in collaboration with UNITEN and the Mobile Robotics Club (MRC), the national-level event brought together student innovators from primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions across Malaysia.

Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), in collaboration with the Korean Society of Clean Technology (KSCT), successfully organised the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Energy, Infrastructure and Environment – Clean Technology (ICSEIE-CT 2026) from 11 to 14 August 2026 at the JW Marriott Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Held under the theme “Harnessing Innovation: Clean Technology Pathways towards Sustainable Energy and Environment,” the conference attracted more than 300 researchers, academics, industry professionals and policymakers, with international delegates comprising approximately one-third of the participants.

Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) hosted the Tan Sri Leo Moggie 7th Lecture Series 2026 on 6 August 2026 at the National Energy Centre (NEC), UNITEN. Held under the Tan Sri Leo Moggie Distinguished Chair in Energy Informatics, in collaboration with the Institute of Informatics and Computing in Energy (IICE), the lecture series provides a platform for distinguished leaders, industry representatives and the academic community to exchange perspectives on the evolving energy landscape.

A Successful Wrap-Up to Karnival Jom Masuk UNITEN 2026. On 18 and 19 July 2026, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) successfully hosted another Open Day, this time with a special twist through Karnival Jom Masuk UNITEN.
